Tango Cherry was once one of UK’s favourite drink, but in 2018, it disappeared without a word. For years, our community begged for its return and for years, Tango ghosted them, dodging DMs and comments like pros.

But in 2024, Tango brought back the drink no one could forget, and to celebrate, we launched a social-first creative platform (Tiktok & Instagram) that taps into everyone’s favourite awkward topic: dating. And just like that, ‘Your Ex (Favourite Drink) Is Back’ campaign was born.


With no budget, we kicked things off by launching a snappy teaser to spark excitement in our audience (and guess what? They totally got it!).

Next, we jumped on the meme bandwagon to craft fun posts that got our message across in a playful way.

We hit the streets with our vox pop to prove that Tango Cherry is the only ex (favourite drink) you’d actually want to get back with!

We produced simple in-house videos using trending sounds to keep the content fresh and engaging.

A brand partnership with LADbible took the ‘Your ex (favourite drink) is back’ concept to the next level.
